Sall is the Justrite Safety Group’s brand specialized in designing and manufacturing steel IBC spill pallets to guarantee the 1000-litre IBC storage compliance and people and environmental safety.
IBC in fact are regularly used for hazardous, polluting, flammable and food liquids such as oils and undergo filling, emptying and forklift handling operations.
Intermediate bulk containers can therefore cause dangerous accidents in case of rupture due to unwisely forklift handling and in case of accidental spillages during manual operations.
It is thus our responsibility to minimize safety risks by using the proper IBC safety containment solution.

All the models are quality certified, watertight tested so that they are the most reliable safety containment system to be used for chemicals, flammables, acids, oils and polluting liquids contained in 1000 liters IBC.
Sall’s steel IBC bunds are available in the standard painted steel or galvanized steel versions and can be provided with PP polypropylene or PE polyethylene internal coating for acids safe containment.
On request, Sall manufactures stainless steel IBC spill containment pallets, that are ideal for the food industry, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, thanks to the high hygiene level they offer and for their acids resistance.
All models are watertight tested and quality certified, according to UNI EN ISO 3834:2-2021, so that these steel IBC bunds are the most reliable containment system in the event of IBC spills, leakages and rupture.
Designed to ensure both safety at work and environmental norms compliance (D.Lgs.N.81/2008, D.Lgs.N.22/1997, D.Lgs N.151/2006 and EU Regulations 91/156/EEC on waste 91/689/EEC on hazardous waste and 94/62/EC), as well as EU regulations.
Sall manufactures on request custom steel IBC spill pallets to meet particular customer’s specifications as well as Extra-EU Countries and very specific locally applicable regulations.

What type of steel IBC spill pallet to choose based on the liquid type and industrial sector?
Steel spill pallets for the storage of IBCs made by Sall are appreciated by Companies partaining to any industrial fields. Spill pallets are available for any chemical substance in accordance with current regulations thanks to international certifications. Recommended spill pallet for every tipe of liquid:
- Steel spill pallets for IBCs (galvanization and/ or surface painting of any requested colour for all models): recommended for chemicals, dangerous, polluting and flammable liquids suitable for any industrial sector except for the food industry, for which it is necessary to use stainless steel spill pallets.
For acids and corrosive substances the models can also be equipped witth special internal coating in polyethylene or polypropylene.
This coating allows to have a spill pallet with the strength and durability of steel material, combined with the special resistance to corrosion and acids of polyethylene spill pallets. - Stainless steel spill pallets for IBCs: ideal for food, chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. This material provides excellent hygiene coefficient and it is also very easy to clean.
Suitable for food liquids, flammable and corrosive substances, stainless steel represents the most resistant material against fire and corrosion.
Stainless steel spill pallets are produced on request and personalized according to customer specifications.
Please note that the volume capacity of the spill pallet is calculated as follows: total volume in litres of stored substances divided 1/3 but always at least equal to the volume in litres of the largest recipient stored on the spill pallet.
For spill pallets of IBCs (1000 lt), the minimum collection volume in litres shall never be less than 1000 litres and if the storage of the pollutants and dangerous substances takes place in a groundwater protection area, then the spill pallet shall provide an equal volume capacity of all litres stored (100%).
